Armadillidium gestroi

Armadillidium gestroi, originally found in France, are exceptionally attractive isopods. They rank among the largest species of Armadillidium and exhibit high levels of activity. Their striking appearance features a black body adorned with prominent yellow spots, with some individuals also sporting a gray skirt. It may take several months for Armadillidium gestroi to establish breeding colonies, so patience is advised before expecting to see offspring.

Food: Main source of food should be decaying leaf litter and wood. Mine also receive a small amount of weekly protein to encourage breeding.
